There isn’t a perfect state of Conscious Capitalism, but there are many ways to measure progress and learn from each other about what works. We hope these resources are helpful as you look to apply CC to your organization. |
How a 100-Year Mindset Changes EverythingRick Sapio, Founder & CEO of Mutual Capital Alliance, captivated 80-plus attendees at our January Conscious Capitalism Dallas event with the topic “How a 100-Year Mindset Changes Everything.” According to Rick, “purpose, priorities and values” shape your life and make for a 100-year mindset. As a follow up to his talk with Conscious Capitalism, he promised to share his Business Success Index (BSI) and “Reflecting and Creating” exercise (see links below). Rick Sapio is a life-long entrepreneur who started his first company at the age of 13 after the death of his father. Since then, he has founded more than 20 companies and has made more than 120 investments. Since 2003, he has been a co-founder and general partner of Mutual Capital Partners, a PE firm with three venture funds. He co-authored the international best-selling book, “Who’s in Your Room: The Secret to Creating Your Best Life.” Recently, due the Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) explosion, he is focusing attention on helping private companies - both his and others - become SPAC ready. He is the founding and seven-time chair of the Gathering of Titans program, an annual event held at MIT in Boston. He is a 1987 graduate of Rutgers University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. Rick resides in Dallas with his wife, Melissa, and their four children. An integral part of the program is a “micro internship” or experiential project, which corporations and organizations have found to be of value in completing short projects and gleaning fresh ideas & perspective from students. Projects/internships can be in any area e.g., Marketing, Online Presence, Finance/Accounting, Strategy/Research, and don’t need to include monetary payment if part of this program. (There are no other fees associated with participating, either.) Most projects for this year’s program would take place in Summer 2022. |
